South Corfu

Southern Corfu encompasses the southern tip (tail) of the island below Messonghi from the southeastern and Chalikounas from Southwestern.

This area is not as developed as other areas of the island and is considered as area that has many potentials in the near future.

The main advantage of the area is the presence on both the eastern and the western part, of the fantastic beaches with
fine sand stretching for miles and only in south corfu can be found so huge sandy beaches.

The famous resort of Kavos can be found here in the Southest part of Corfu and is suitable mostly as a destination for lively youths looking to party.

Another area partially touristically developed is Ag. Georgios (Argiradon), mostly visited by families.
